I qualified in June 1988 from the Belfast School of Podiatric Medicine and spent 14 years working in secondary care in the Northern Trust where I specialised in biomechanics and orthotic therapy.

I took up my current post in Belfast City Hospital as a Senior I Podiatrist, Clinical Specialist in Rheumatology in August 2002. As part of my extended scope practice I have trained in steroid joint and soft tissue injections and Ultrasound scanning. My other interests include specialised footwear. I am the regional podiatry representative on the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance NI (ARMA NI).
