Simon graduated from Wessex School of Podiatry in 1991.

Previously, he practised in the NHS for nine years for a variety of NHS Trusts gaining an MSc in Podiatry and latterly holding a senior clinical post specialising in paediatrics.

Currently, Simon is a Senior Lecturer within the School of Health Professions, University of Brighton where he is undertaking a PhD involving outcome measures in rheumatology.

Additional professional duties include Treasurer for the Footpressure Interest Group and Education & Research Officer for the PRCA.
